I think some highly regarded cartoon TV shows would be fun in 3D. Like Batman: The Animated Series or Tron: Uprising. Something along those lines.

An animated TV series would really be perfect for 3D. You could have different directors come in and direct each episode, bringing fresh ways to use 3D but of course, keep the same animation and technical stereo team to maintain appropriate depth and roundness.

curious to see what people would pick.

since my favorite thing in the universe is buffy the vampire slayer (tv series) that would be my pick.
Albeit short, some are doing it BIG -

I know I've stated this in another related post, but there are so many scenes in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets that are ripe and already take advantage of implied dimensionality.

I would kinda like to view another HFR movie, at the very least to compare it to The Hobbit in 3D.

I feel a movie like The Watchmen would've benefited from 3D sooo much. watching it in 2D and i get upset at scenes knowing how good it could've been. oh well.

Sin City? Maybe with an intentional pop-up feel?

A couple of others mentioned Peter Jackson's King Kong, which would be my top choice.

Two animated features I'd like to see are The Incredibles and Spirited Away.

Tron Uprising 3D would be cool considering they have most of it rendered in a computer for the assets. Strong 3D please.

That would be nice to see Watchmen in 3D. I hope they amp up the 3D more for Man of Steel 2 (vs Batman and Wonderwoman).

My 1st wish would be the Matrix Trilogy in strong 3D (strong 3D layers).

2nd on the wishlist would be Blade 1 and 2 3D, and Hellboy 2 3D to join Hellboy 3 3D apparently in the brainstorming/planning stages.

Cartoon shows: Dungeons & Dragons 3D. GI Joe Original Series 3D.

Blade Runner and The Abyss would be two 2D films I'd like to see in 3D.

Of the classic 3D films I'd like to see Kiss Me Kate and It Came From Outer Space on Blu.

I have to agree on the Matrix films. The bullettime effect just begs to pop out of your screen.
Have fun storming the castle!

Cool

Agreed. Also thinking about the bullets Neo is able to stop in front of his face floating in front of him, the pouring rain in part 3, the swarms of Sentinels bursting through the tunnel and swarming by the thousands towards the Mechs blasting heavy rapid fire at them, navigating the tunnels, the endless layers of Agent Smith, etc.

Granted, the special stunt doubles in some of the fight scenes don't always look believable, but the Matrix movies would still would be something to see in strong 3D.

Agreed. Lord of the Rings would be something in strong 3D with the thousands of soldiers in battle.

Free Birds, the animated feature that came out this last November. Even though it had a 3D theatrical release (that was awesome btw), those jerks are only giving us a 2D Blu-ray release of the film. Lame.
