For me easily one of the better sequels to TCM and I've sat through a ton of bad Leatherface sequel/remake/sequel-to-remake crap. If Texas Chainsaw 3D had come out right after TCM, it would have been a memorable sequel instead of the oddball Texas Chainsaw 2 that everyone, and I stress everyone and their mother hated at the time. I need to get arrow video's boxset to see how well it has aged and for Hooper's first (short) movies!

Anyway, during Texas Chainsaw 3D I turned away couple of times, laughed at the appropriate moments and I liked what they did with Leatherface and the mythology for this one.

Let's face it, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies are never going to be art cinema or intellectual stories, the strength of the original is not an intelligent screenplay or oscar worthy performances, and this latest entry is no different; it's just good ol' chainsaw wielding fun! I do hope there will be another one with Alexandra Daddario, damn she was hot in it (sorry Biel, you've been out-assed).

I haven't seen the film yet. But was wondering if the Canadian release is the unrated version or not? I know the differences are minimal. But i'd be up for getting that version whenever I decide to check out the film.

Minimal is an understatement. The difference is 4.92 seconds from Unrated and Theatrical. Although those 5 seconds do have more gore in them.

I actually liked 'Texas Chainsaw 3D' as well. I thought it was good. Loved how the beginning picked up right at the end of the original.

You're expecting to get a slip on a movie from Amazon that was released almost a year ago? Wow! You're brave!

I bought this around Black Friday from Walmart for $9.96 and it didn't have a slip.

It's not like this was exactly a hit. I got a slip from Peter Pan diamond edition. That came out well over a year ago, and I guarantee it sold more than this :P

Yeah, but slips are never guaranteed. You don't even know how many there are. Peter Pan is a much more popular release than this and it's from Disney, so I'm sure more slips were made for that one.

Well considering almost every store I see that carries it now and the last 5/6 months hasn't had a slip on it, I'd say you're not getting a slip from Amazon either.

I still see slips on this in Best Buy, so there is hope. I'd try all the retail stores around me first if I was in the market for the disc and wanted a slip, since there's no telling if Amazon still has em or not (besides ordering and hoping). Sounds like my BB is an exception, and many slips have re-surfaced there in the last few weeks. Machete, which I hadn't seen a slip for in almost a year, all the sudden had 3 copies with slips.
