Wow, 10 years of DCU titles. All things considered that's an amazing anniversary achievement.

And now sad news, Miguel Ferrer has passed away at age 61.

Ricci and Ferrer are newcomers to the stable of the DC animated movies, a line that celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
Christina Ricci may be a newcomer to the DC animated movies, but Miguel Ferrer has not only done voice work for a few DC animated shows, he did the voice of J'onn J'onzz/Martian Manhunter in one of DC's earliest animated movies, Justice League: New Frontier.

Why won't they use Wonder Girl? Wasn't she in The Judas Contract comic book and a key character in The New Titans?

Maybe a rights issue? I'm not sure. Would have been nice if they stuck the 80's Teen Titans cast, but I get that they want to 'update' and be modern.
TBH, I'm getting sick of these live-action half-ar$ed attempts to adapt comic book storylines to screen when they hardly resemble the source material. That Invasion crossover event from the CBW DC TV shows and Captain America : Civil War spring immediately to mind.
I really hope the DC animated movies don't starting going this route, because they have been a breath of fresh air.
Some have been fantastic like Justice League : Flashpoint, The Dark Knight Returns and a some have given me a mixed opinion like the Batgirl scenes at the beginning of The Killing Joke and JL : War (Replacing Aquaman with Shazam is unforgivable) and JL : Throne of Atlantis (Why not just give Aquaman his own movie?).

These movies certainly have been a mixed bag but the previous two (The Return...and JL Dark) have been very good so hopefully this one will follow suit.

Looks like fun. Some of the illustrations are a little iffy, especially the faces of non-principal characters (like around the 15-17 second mark of the trailer), but it looks good otherwise.

Deathstroke looks cool. I still wish they'd use Wonder Girl. It just doesn't seem like The New Titans without her.

Ok looks good. May have some past scenes of classic Titans. Is that Jericho captured by HIVE?

This. I just wish they has put Wonder Girl in some sort of capacity in the film, at least in the flashback, since she was part of the classic Teen Titans, and in the 1960's Filmation animated series.

Indeed, it is Jericho. Apparently it is his life force that is being siphoned by Brother Blood in the shot from the trailer.

Truth. She even pre-dates Wonder Woman making the leap from the comics pages.

(Filmation's Teen Titans aired in 1967; Wonder Woman didn't appear on-screen until 1972 in The Brady Kids).

Amazon UK

Literally the only character who's not in the original comic. Screw logic.
