Default Wishlist - 3 uncut releases of your choice

If you could have any three films released by your favourite company on blu-ray, in full, unexpurgated form, what would they be? This can be pre-BBFC censorship, pre-MPAA, rumours you've heard about scenes hitting the cutting room floor, whatever...

I'll start:

Cherry Falls

I was one of the seemingly few people who really enjoyed this film, and was a bit irked after I watched it to find it had had a fair few moments culled from Geoffrey Wright's initial vision. I'd love to see the full uncut version of this someday.

There were several reports that this had tens, if not hundreds, of small trims to the two major battle scenes, excising some of the lingering moments of violence. It's still a well-directed film with brilliantly effective battles, but it would be great to see Mel's original version.

The now infamous head-in-a-vice and baseball bat beatings were trimmed down by the MPAA. None of the naughty language was touched. I'd like to see just how far Scorsese went before his film was ever so slightly eviscerated.

I remember listening to the directors commentary and Robert Rodriguez talked about the reason the final shootout is not in at all was because the MPAA wanted so many cuts to get an R rating it was easier to just remove it.

I'd love an Criterion/Arrow release of this with an uncut directors cut loaded with extras

There's always talk about what was cut from this to get an R rating, and then further cuts for a uk 15? The bbfc ones were waived but there's no fully uncut version available.

Hard Target

same as above, would like to see a fully uncut version

I'm sure there's plenty I'd like to see more than the second two but I can't think of.

The only correct answer for me is The Devils. A boy can dream that we get it on blu-ray one day...

Hellraiser Bloodlines, but that would probably never be possible since all the uncut footage was never finished.

Spider-Man 3, would be fun to see what it was like before it turned out to be what we got.
