An lovely, and underrated, horror movie. Just a bit too hard to be a PG-13 but still a wonderful 80s flick that deserves a BD release.

Such a great movie, it definitely needs a good BD release.
Oh, the horror!

I remember this one. A really good werewolf flick where the main character is a teenager in a wheelchair. If I recall correctly, the actor is the same kid from The Lost Boys.

Has there been any movement on this for a blu release? Does Paramount still own the rights to this? I would like to email them and ask... I could see this turning intro an awesome TT release and selling out as quick as Christine...

WB currently has it, as of the start of this year, under their distribution agreement with Paramount.

That should mean we will see it, then... As I posted in the Friday the 13th thread... IF Paramount kept it, then it is still in limbo... but anything that Warner optioned has to be on Warner's plan to release or else they would not have negotiated and paid for it.

As far as non-news goes, anything in the list that Warner optioned almost has to come out in the next few years or they wasted money.

I emailed Warner about this and if they can lend any info to their plans for Silver Bullet. Hopefully I will get a reply.

They had one of these up for Jaws too, at least 2 years before it was announced.

It's a shame as this should be on BD ASAP!

I saw a 4pack Stephen King DVD at Walmart the other day: Dead Zone - Pet Sematary - Silver Bullet and Graveyard Shift, for $19.99. I would be absolutely thrilled if that received a BD release. Man, I'm tempted to go pick it up now. hah

This was from back in the day when a Stephen King movie was still an almost monumental event.

Nowadays... Not so much

Silver Bullet is great though and I'd be happy to be able to finally retire my DVD copy.
Yeah, but you know what? This one, this one right here. This was my dream, my wish. And it didn't come true. So I'm taking it back. I'm taking them all back.

This one was awesome, would love this in my collection...
I like it when a plan comes together, like in a movie.
