Great Article here. I really can't wait for this on Blu!! Will Warner Bro release this now that they are taking over Paramounts catalog titles?

Depends on whether Paramount sold it to them or not. Warner bought around 600 of their catalog titles. Either way. I really hope this gets released at some point. After an initial run of a few Audrey Hepburn movies, nobody has released any in a while. There's so many left that seem to be getting ignored.

It's Frustrating how many classics we still don't have. I waited for Lawrence of Arabia forever it seems... I mean it was worth the wait but geez

Just to clarify, Warner did not buy 600+ catalog titles from Paramount. Paramount and Warner entered into a distribution agreement similar to Mill Creek & Disney, Mill Creek & Sony, and MGM & Fox. Warner will handle distribution of these titles for Paramount for the next three years.

This is one of my favorite movies of all-time. I'm dying to get this on blu-ray but I'll settle for the DVD if I have to. Any tips as to if this will get a blu release or not?

Audrey Hepburn is my all time favorite actress, so more of her movies on blu is welcome. In fact just received Breakfast at Tiffany's from wbshop today! It's been way too long since I've watched, and the old dvd I had was such a crappy release so looking forward to watching it in high def.

Whenever someone asks me what my most desired Blu-ray release is, I reply: "Rome. By all means. Rome!"

I am assuming another re-master would need to be done? I have both dvd releases, and the more recent centennial release is advertised to have a new high def remaster but it still looks like the print used had some damaged to it that was not cleaned up.

For the blu-ray release I would like if Paramount could use the artwork from the TCM poster. Much better than the original poster.

I totally dig the TCM poster as well. I need to find the actual poster to hang in my house.

I will be very upset if they don't give Roman Holiday some 60th anniversary love this year.

From Universal? That can't be right. It was produced by Paramount, not just released by them, and they control it in all territories.

Above is a link to their Dutch DVD, where did this rumor of a Dutch BD come from?

Does this mean a NA release is not far behind?
