Chinese often comes divited into Mandarin or Cantonese.
Do you have a BD-Rom to use BD-Info Scan?
Google seems to identify these characters you posted as "japanese".
What does the Menue on the Disc say?

Maybe yesasia.com list of avaible languages on the disc helps:
Language: English, Cantonese, Korean, Mandarin, DANISH, Thai, SWEDISH, NORWEGIAN, Icelandic, Finnish
Subtitles: English, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Bahasa (Indonesia), Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish

Mark,

The characters you posted are Japanese, not Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese).

Standard Chinese, which is also referred to as "Mandarin", Pǔtōnghuà (simplified Chinese: 普通话; traditional Chinese: 普通話; literally "common speech") or Guóyǔ (Chinese: 國語; literally "national language"), is the official language of the People's Republic of China and the Republic of China, and one of the four official languages of Singapore.

Mandarin + Cantonese is spoken Chinese. Both are 2 Chinese dialects.
Written Chinese is either Simplified or Traditional Chinese - the spoken dialect doesn't matter, it's always written the same (that's the great thing about Chinese).

This is Mandarin in Traditional Chinese: 國語 (so yes, that's right)
And this is Cantonese in Traditional Chinese: 粵語

Where are you getting those from? The back cover? BluRay menu?

您好,中国的语言主要是以大陆普通话为主,即Mandarin,它在蓝光碟字幕中对应的有简体中文Mand arin(Simplified)和繁体中文(台湾)Mandarin(Traditional)两种形式 。中文简体字幕对应的语言称为“普通话”,繁体中文字幕(台湾)对应的在台湾被称为“国语”。而Canto nese指的是“粤语”,中国广东和香港等地区的地方性语言,对应的字幕名叫做繁体中文(香港),同Can tonese。
