True Lies and The Abyss. I understand the Abyss has an extended cut and some of the footage that was acceptable for DVD may need work to be up to Blu quality, but True Lies is done. There's already an HD master of it, they play it on HBO and Cinemax all the time. Ridiculous that the guy behind the two most successful movies ever has films still not available on the best format.

(And we can add Strange Days, too. Cameron didn't direct, but it has his fingerprints all over it, and region locked Blu's are available in Europe. The studios love to repackage stuff... where's the "James Cameron Collection", Fox?)

I am surprised that these relatively controversial movies haven't found their way to Blu-Ray.
How could i forget Ken Park? That one needs to be on Bluray.

I'd LOVE it if all the Peter Sellers & Blake Edwards The Pink Panther films were on Blu-ray in a nice boxset.
I'd only be interested in watching the Steve Martin Pink Panthers only because I'm a huge fan of Jean Reno.

Oh man, how did I forget that one. Glad to know I'm not the only big fan of For Love of the Game. It's my favorite of the Costner baseball movies.

Same. It is always overshadowed by Bull Durham and Field of Dreams. Deserves to sit right next to them.

These are really the only two that surprise me.

I'm frustrated - but not particularly surprised - that we're still waiting for high profile catalog titles like The Big Sleep or The Marx Brothers or the like.

On a related note, I am very confused by one particular MIA title. The Addams Family has been released but Addams Family Values has not?

To use the parlance of our times, lolwut?

Even more bizarrely, Another Stakeout has been released, but the original Stakeout hasn't.

I question if some of you are truly surprised by the fact that some of the films people have named aren't on Blu Ray as they boader on being fairly obscure... the only films that honestly, truly surprise me that they're not on Blu Ray at this point are...
