It's a metal pack too, not even a steel book. AND no season pass!

They just use a non-definite term ("metal case") just like Bethesda usually do. It doesn't mean it's definitely a MetalPak/FuturePak.

It looks cool, but $180 is pretty steep to be honest. Part of me wants to get it cause I'm a HUGE fan of Resident Evil, but I'm still cautiously optimistic about this entry in the series. I think I'll hold off and play the standard version. If I like it than I'll consider purchasing the collector's version if it's still available.

I still don't know how I feel about this game... the demo didn't do much for me and RE6 pretty much killed my love of the series. I guess time will tell, but I'm definitely not spending $180 on this.

Early marketing images doesn't define the exact final product. Forgot the game title but it did happened that the image showed what seemed to be a MetalPak but ended up being a Steelbook.

Still, $180 seems like a lot and I don't know if it's really worth that much. Even if the MetalPak turns out to be a steelbook.

That "metal case" description is a pretty common term that doesn't mean much. Both the Fallout 4 and Doom collector editions used it to describe what ended up being steelbooks. Probably lots of other examples as well.

As for this, will definitely not be getting it but may look up getting just the steelbook later on once gameplay vids come out.

The NA version is a FuturePak.

The French version is a SteelBook.

I laughed out loud at the "Creepy Note" collectible.

The house and steel are pretty dang cool, though.
