Agreed. It was the last film to be released before the Signature Collection started coming out.

Surely not, this only just came out a year or 2 ago, Pinocchio and Snow White had not been available for years. And as far as I know the Aladdin Blu-ray is still available.

At least they're doing it right this time. I'm still bitter at how long we had to wait for Aladdin on Blu-ray in the U.S., they should have released it after Lion King like when the DVDs were first coming out.

Clickbait and nothing more.

This YouTube user has more "coming soon" guesses re: the Signature line on their channel, which is comprised entirely of link "videos":

Sure why not. With guesses on Signature releases 12-16 months out we can add all sort of wish list bonuses since we don't even have a comprehensive list for a disc coming out in 2 weeks yet.

I vote for an Aladdin Signature Trilogy with multiple aspect ratios for the 2 sequels and re-add the Laserdisc boxset supplement and artwork

Good starting point.

Fix the aspect ratios of the sequels and add at least one bonus Bluray like the Original Pinocchio, SB, Snow, TLK and BatB had

Heck, why not go all out and get the 3D Disc released since we're pretty sure the transfer was finished before it was shelved.

And have the original blue castle Disney logo restored too.

The sooner we tell Disney, the better.

Until this is listed on DisneySignatureCollection.com, I'm going to keep this in the Wish List forum.

It's quite possible that the video is merely nothing but hopefulness.

The blue castle did not age particularly well, it is replaced with the CGI one as it can be modified into variations and into as many as need be more freely than that can.

I know it adds 30 seconds of runtime onto Aladdin and any other classic mastered with it like Hercules.

I just bought the Diamond release...

I'm not going to play that movie, but the preview looks very poorly done. I doubt Disney would let it out of the door.

So strange to release this as a signature edition when the Diamond was released not even two years ago. There's also hardly an incentive to buy it at this point. Digital Copy was included with the Diamond. Pass for me unless it's got amazing bonus features.

My guess is that the SE will be the same transfer or even the same Diamond Edition disc, but with download exclusive content like BatB.
