That is definitely good news. I hope that they put out another noir box set, like they did when upgrading older DVD titles to blu to the first time around.

I think Olive's Film Noir blu-ray box set is among the very best of what they have released so far. Very enjoyable films, especially my favorite from the set Union Station.

Yeah, as far as I can tell the only other DVD-only title left that can be classified as film noir is Atomic City. Everything else from Olive's DVD-only run was included in the boxed set.

I didnt like the other 2, but I did like Union Station...this is one of those times where 'sold separately' would have been appreciated

For the other Fassbinder fans out there,
I Only Want You to Love Me will receive a blu-ray release this year. The TV version (Olive is calling it the uncut version) of The Stationmaster's Wife will be a 2014 release. Sad about the wait, but excited to hear that the restoration has started. |
