Anyone planning on picking up the pre-order, can you confirm Walmart will ahve this out today.

I picked up my 3D card from Walmart. They had about a dozen each of Gandalf and Thorin, but only two left of Bilbo . Now, there is only one.

I just registered for delivery of my digibook. It's pretty simple if you already have a VUDU account.

Also, from the instructions on the card, it looks like they give you the UV copy of the film a week before it's released, on March 12.


EDIT: The price was indeed $26.96.

So the digibook is automatically delivered, or is there in-store pick up as an option?
Also I'm assuming I can flat out buy the digibook, when it arrives, if I don't want the card?(not that I'm going to do that, just curious)
Not sure if it was mentioned but about how big is the card?

I assume so too, but this way it's guaranteed delivery to your door/office.

Im debating about pre-ordering this. Im sure there is a good chance that this will be cheaper on release day. But then again, is it gonna be available in stores and at what kind of quantity. Oh well I'll will prob go ahead an pre-order it cuz Im sure its only gonna be a few dollars cheaper.

Hmm I love me some digibook. But this a is straight up gimp release without the 3D disc. 3D haters let the hate flow I dont give a ____.

I would like a 48fps edition. I loved that new way of seeing a film way more then the 3D. It was like live theater

Just as a heads up for those of you who ordered this through VUDU: I just received an e-mail from VUDU stating that my digibook has shipped.

Edit: Ugh! Looks like others have mentioned this already in the other thread about this version. Someone please tell me again why there are so many threads for this freakin movie?!?

Guys noticed that the price dropped on the digibook on release day, do we just take it to a walmart to get it adjusted (pre-ordered and shipped from VUDU)?
