thanks so much for those instructions.
new features are always appreciated, but an option to not enable them should always be included imo--especially when the feature involves additional images or any type of meaningful page redesign.
keep up the great work!

"Blu-ray (pronounced Blue ray) is what Blu-ray .com is all about. Blu-ray movies, Blu-ray players, Blu-ray news and reviews, you'll find everything right here. We offer thousands of Blu-ray movies and Blu-ray reviews, Blu-ray release announcements and news, Blu-ray release dates, hot Blu-ray deals, forums and more. We're also busy expanding our coverage of 3D movies, 3D Blu-ray, PS3 games and home theater in general. For more information about Blu-ray (not Blue ray, Blu-Ray, or Blu-ray DVD), the official successor to DVD, see What is Blu-ray? or the Blu-ray FAQ. "

Maybe it was always there, and I just hadn't noticed til now.

FWIW - I kinda like it lol. I'll leave it enabled.

I'm a more casual user I guess - only own 39 BR so far, if I was a die hard BR buyer I can imagine being told that <title X> is about to be released would be uneccessary lol.

I don't mind it, I actually like it. Is there any thoughts about maybe combining it with the Deals thats right above it? I like the larger images. Maybe the Blu-ray review could be above the image of the film and the price below the image or vice versa? Maybe make it able to scroll left to right so the same number of Blu-ray Deals (19) could be the same? Even the full list of deals could be added to the front page that way.

Thank you for letting us toggle it off. I thought it to be an eyesore and completely unnecessary, at least for members/frequent users, maybe not first-time visitors.

Question Settings for home page?

The "My settings" ("B") link is not working. I've been clicking on this, hoping that I can change settings, to remove the "Google play" and "App Store" banner ads, and the new "Blu-ray Highlights" line-up.

What the home page used to do well is show the newest news, the newest reviews, and handy site links, right at the top (the way I have it set). Now this formerly useful real estate is occupied by useless noisy junk. I would greatly appreciate the option of hiding it.

It has always been there but I've removed it for logged in members, as they most likely know what Blu-ray is anyway

Clicking the "B" is the same as clicking/using a country flag, but instead of using a specific country or global settings, the "B" uses your custom settings.

You can hide the new Blu-ray Highlights section in your preferences

Ohh! Okay, thanks. I see it now: "Show frontpage highlights". How about an option for hiding the "Google play" and "App Store" banner ads?

So the "My settings" link is for seeing the site geared toward different countries? I don't get what I would use it for.

Thanks guys! I did not care for the Highlights section, glad I can turn it off (options rule!).

Thanks very much. It looks so much better this way.
Adopted Blu-ray long before its development and launch.
