Yea, the dmp-bdt500 is the one with 2 hdmi. To me it seems like the best value is with the 220 and then adding an adapter (If the internal component quality is the same across the 220/320/500). At least if you do not need the slot loading drive or the sensor.

I'm a Sony guy and all my gear is Sony. I went from the Sony S770 which I love and never had any problems with to this new Panny 320. I've been using it for about a week now and everything from BD, DVD's and streaming has been flawless. Excellent accros the board. The reason I went with this new Panny was because of the slot loading drive which I MUCH preffer. I only wish Sony would have come up with at least one machine this year with the slot loading drive....well, maybe next year.....

My Best Buy matches everything from Walmart to Amazon. Can't see how that sucks. But to each their own. I honestly like Amazon most for convenience but Best Buy definitely does not suck.

My BB doesn't match externally!

Have any "ammo" you could post; like your BB's location\Sales people's names? Does it also apply to "Magnolia"?

I may start ordering from that location 'cause I'm Silver already and we're not even thru 1Q12...

TIA - Rich

I recently picked this 320 up at best buy, their website had it on sale for 144.99, in store it was 199.99, they met the online price for me, great player, streams flawlessly, looks nice, a little slim for my liking, but the silver samsung 6700 I had was driving me nuts, still debating on possibly returning and slapping down some more cash for the 500 with dual hdmi, but I think I can live with watchhing my 3D blus on the ps3 since I watch 3D maybe once every other month if even that... damn 1.3 receiver

Itīs a great bluray player hampered by really bad design choices/interface.

The touch pad do really nothing for the user friendliness. Okay itīs 5 % easier then the average remote to find the play and paus buttons however the remote is as stealth black as any so to find the actual remote is not as easy.

There is dual or triple steps to do what is one step on just about every player. I suppose something went wrong when they decided to go for the touch pad or something.

The slot drive I thought I would love initially. Itīs really nice on the PS3 but this itīs hard to find in the darkness so it often ends up more awkward then the standard bays. It also like to spit the disc out one or two times if you donīt time correctly during upstart. Sensor is also a big misstake due to the noise the player do with quickstart enabled. you have to start a disc for it to quiet down! The display it got which the 220 hasnīt is also the most basic you can get.

However I have little complain about itīs dvd or bluray playback which is what matters the most. And just getting a Logitech Harmony one was like a dream come true. no more fiddling with changing chapers, fast forward choosing subtitles, audio etc etc I now even have an eject function which the original mysteriously lack.

So yes there is to me really no reason to go over the 320 over the 220. In a lot of ways itīs a downgrade.

Works best with the Panasonic remote app.
There simply is no other place on the internet. Blu-ray.com

Lol yes itīs better but itīs still an awful touch screen. I got a logitech Harmony One and itīs such a relief. Subtitles is hardcoded so still has to get into menues for that but I can now play, rewind, change chapters and all very fast and easy. And I got an eject button!
