Default The Universe in 3D (History Channel)

Anyone seen any of these and care to comment on the 3D?

All three episodes are up for pre-order in the UK (I have pre-ordered them all):
- Catastrophes That Changed the Planets (11th March)
- The Sun's Evil Twin (8th April)
- How the Solar System Was Made (13th May)

I see it was released as a boxset in the USA though in November 2012 so interested in opinions.
<<<<Also have 7500+ dvds not added to my collection. Decided it was a losing battle. Also have several hundred blu-rays to add but only adding when watched as a rule of thumb.

I'm always weary about buying anything purportedly in "3D" as there are just so many poor quality conversions of sub-standard films and programs around.

A few reviews on this one don't look that great...I'll save my money.

The reviews at Amazon US seem very mixed but none go into any real depth of the 3D. I'll likely give the first a try and if it isn't great then cancel the other two.

I like them, here in Australia we have a release which contains all three episodes. The 3D is mixed on these though for converted footage not bad.
