I saw this at the movies and just recently bought it as a bargain bin title - well worth it at $10 or less. Basically, turn off the parts of your brain involving any form of critical thinking or logical reasoning, sit back, and enjoy the ride

I know I am a little late in seeing this but I finally got around to watching this last night. This was a great action film and back to the old school action films we saw 20+ years ago, i loved how ridiculous it was. I see there is a sequel in the works called, "London has Fallen" it just sounds as fun. I am not a fan of Gerard Butler but he was very good in this.
He'll Be Back...

I think it would be really nice to see a sequel to this.
I refuse to let what happened to me make me bitter.
I still completely believe in love and I'm open to anything that will happen to me.

This movie is entertaining but MAN is it an insane plot mess. I'm supposed to root for people who are inviting nuclear devastation to save one man because... why? The Korean dudes can hack a code which can destroy America in a few hours... how? I know you can't expect plot sense in a dumb action movie but MAN sometimes you can cross a line that is way too stupid to deal with.

Anyway, fun movie, good fight scenes. My catching up with the 2010's continues...

Oh this is a really silly movie, but I find it to be consistently entertaining (especially compared to other recent action flick, even more to White House Down). There is something extremely primary to it, blunt brutal stupid but efficient which gives the movie a lean aspect.
