I never want to see another Batman movie with the al Ghuls again if they're as boring as Nolan's versions.

I was thinking something like what Nolan did with Bane and Talia al Ghul.

Bane did all the heavy lifting with the breaking of the Bat and throwing him in prison then setting up the city with the nuke while Talia al Ghul was the slow knife that cuts the deepest.

Like that, but not exactly like that. Know what I mean?

Nice choices Caviezel basically plays Batman ever week (minus costume) on TV in Person of Interest! The problem is "POI" is a Jonathan Nolan show.
GO VOLS!!

I'd love to see better incarnations done for Riddler and Mr. Freeze personally. Their roles in previous live-action films were either miscast or batsh*t crazy... Arnold as Mr. Freeze? *shoots myself* Jim Carrey as Riddler? *double face palm* Decent actor and guy for the role, but way wrong... I won't lie. I had been hoping for Johnny Depp as the Riddler in TDKR. The Nolan's had it in mind to maybe do Riddler but thought it was too close to Heath Ledger's Joker and when he passed away they reconsidered and changed gears.... Riddler is one of my fav's and really the only villain who could truly test Batman's wits. We'll see what happens but I'll hold out hope for a real Mr. Freeze and Riddler one day....

the Johnny Depp thing was a fan boy rumor, just like Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Penguin and also Leo playing Riddler.. their decision had nothing to do with Ledgers death.. they didn't mention the jokers name in TDKR in respect of Ledger

here's the fact

Quote:
Studio execs had strongly suggested that the Riddler be the film's primary villain but filmmakers felt the character too derivative. The filmmakers ultimately decided to use Bane as they felt he was strikingly different than the Joker from the previous movie.
the only true rumor was Robin Williams playing Hugo Strange
