Thanks for the info! I don't think I will ever get super into figures since BD's already take up a ton of space but a few cheap ones don't sound so bad lol

Ummm. a little on the pricey side I would say. Actually a LOT on the pricey side!
Everything I looked at was cheaper elsewhere.

So, I elected to pass on the figure of Schwi that looks like an opened Swiss Army knife (see previous page) but did purchase/pre-order the other rendition of Schwi as;
- she's sitting on a chessboard like my Shiro
- similar pose to Shiro
- it's too saddening to see her "damaged" like that (in the Swiss Army knife fig).
- cheaper, heh.
I think the two will book-end each other very nicely !

I realize these next two figs are not anime but I wished to inform you dear folk that yes, I have interests beyond "pretty little girls"
Very seriously considering pre-ordering these two figs as I have the games;

1 - Dark Souls Knight
2 - Bloodborne Hunter

DS Knight.jpg

BB 1.jpg

There are better figs of both available but only for a LOT more coin.

Lot of good looking figures, you all are tempting me to get into another hobby that my bank account is not looking forward to.

Started work on my gunpla backlog, the rg amatsu mina, this thing's a beauty, highly detailed and complex, the build has been a challenge but an enjoyable one nonetheless. Have a few wip pics, finished the main body but still need to make the backpack and weapons -

One needs to take care with some of the smaller pieces as I've carelessly snapped a few of the pieces but was thankfully able to fix them with some extra thin cement glue. I also applied some spray paint to the molded gold parts. All in all, I really love this kit (and real grades in general), will share a few more pics when am done with the rest of it (backpack looks epic).

Not quite anime related but nonetheless was able to snag my first figure a couple of weeks ago; a 14'' Spawn Gunslinger -

Was on sale for $20 at my local Toys R Us' last day of business (will miss the store, grew up as a toys r us kid). It stands around the same height as the PG Unicorn in destroy mode -

Looks pretty nerdycool, think am officialy catching the figure bug now, not good for the wallet.

And have pics of the finished real grade amatsu mina -

My "Schwi" fig from NGNL:Zero arrived today in perfect condition!
Very well packaged for shipping by TOM.
I was a bit disappointed that the Border tax nazis hit me pretty hard ($37Cdn) and actually surprised, as my "Shiro" fig from TOM did not incur additional tax.
no duty charge though, just tax.
The two gals look great together, each sitting on their little chess boards across from each other.
Sorry, no new pics, as my camera is still giving me grief when hooked to the computer. I just got back from an extended trip, so hopefully can sort that out soon.

Oh, wanted to mention, LOVE your Spawn fig Vincentric!
I remember getting quite heavy into the McFarlane figs some time back, including the original Spawn figs, "Movie Maniacs" figs and of course my greatest love, their "Dragon" figs, of which I have ALL of them.
My dragon figure collection is quite formidable I would venture to say. if it's a dragon and carved in plastic, pretty good chance I own it!
Heh, sorry about sidelining the "Anime" focus here folks but I'll take any opportunity to brag about my Dragon collection...
Cheers!

p.s. Vincentric, did you by chance see/get McFarlane's Spawn 14" "Mandarin" figure?
Without a doubt my very fave humanoid figure I've ever purchased!

Border tax is never fun indeed, glad to hear the figs showed up in flawless condition though, wouldn't mind seeing pics whenever you get the cam problems sorted out, but no rush.

Thanks, the packaging for the Gunslinger was pretty banged up but the figure itself was perfectly fine, did not see a 14'' Spawn Mandarin, just a couple of other smaller figures that I did not recognize.

Have got a quick off topic note of my own, I used to work at an FAO Schwarz way back in the day and can still remember taking shipments for a whole bunch of Spawn and other McFarlane figures, I was more of a video game nerd back then but man, I almost wish I could go back in time now and purchase some of those figs.

Will try and snap a few more pics of recently finished gunpla and a wip of a master grade am currently working on now.

Few more recently finished kits.

Love the look of this out of the box unpainted, looks pretty good.

Digging this one too but I did spray paint all of the molded gold parts including the inner frame.

And a couple of WIP pics of the master grade 00 Raiser:

Honestly wasn't sure how I'd end up liking this one but can say now without a doubt I absolutely love how it looks. Just the main body by itself without any weapons or backpack attached is looking sleek and sharp. Will share couple more images once I finish assembling the backpack, weapons and 0 raiser attachments (which is almost like a second kit in of itself).

Hi my friend;

^^ Really incredible figs you have there vincentric they are unbelievably detailed and I salute your skill at assembling and painting them!
I've never been good at that kind of stuff.
Many years in the Air Force as a jet engine technician, I can do wonders with machinery but delicate little plastic items intimidate the hell out of me!
Well done.
Looking forward to seeing more of your exquisite artwork!
Cheers!
