Vacuum Tube Equipment at Reasonable Prices

I bought my front-end Bada DC-222 Hybrid & Bada HD-22SE HDCD from Pacific Valve back in '08. Great sounding gear at down to earth prices. Nice people to deal with too.

I just pulled the trigger on Ming Da 75 Integrated Amp! This is the only one I know that will fill my needs. I know this is a blind buy since it is only available through the website. It was back ordered though, the dealer said I should get it by next week Thursday.

Right now, my dream tube amp is far beyond my budget and can't wait for it so I decided to get this temporarily.

I'm just hoping Ming Da will satisfy my taste, I always like the sound of the tube from warm sound or neutral sound. I just want to share this exciting experience I'm having now.

Congrats on your good news. I also bought somewhat blind with the Yaqin and am very happy. If the Ming sounds as good as it looks then you wont have any worries. BTW, whats the dream amp?

Finally, I hooked up my newest baby (tube amp) for my stereo set up. Sound of tubes are just amazing. Dealer said I should break this in about 80 hours before it can reach its full potential.

The power cord that came in with it is a cheapo. Never ending upgrade, I love this hobby. Anyway, gotta spend some time with the wife before spending time again with number 2 (babies)

My Halos will find its newest place, my HT. It is going to be a very busy for the next few days.

look into the Shunyatta Venom power cable, its not too expensive and supposed to be very good. I was happy to see that my Naim Nait 5i came with a pretty heavy duty power cable.

From music direct website, it come with only 1.5 meters and the extension cord can add another 1.5 meters. That will cost me about $ 300.00. I tried audio advisor for a third of a price. Pangea AC-14SE.

Also, I finally hooked up my processor that has been collecting dust in the closet. Got to watch a lot of movies all over again.

The lowest priced Vacuum Tube products are made in China by manufacturers such as XiangSheng. They are sold by a few Chinese dealers on Ebay.

I bought a XiangSheng 728A Vacuum Valve Tube Pre-Amplifier for $332 plus free shipping a few months ago and I am very happy with its performance. You can't find such low prices anywhere else.

No, I don't plan to go all tube in the future. I have too much money invested in solid state equipment. At one time, I had a Carver tube CD player. Unfortunately, it died. Currently, I only use a vacuum tube preamplifier in my two-channel room.

Started to "tube rolling". Bought a couple of RCA 6SN7 and Mullard 12AT7. It made a slight difference already! I have to wait til is is fully break in. For a mean time, I need to save money for future KT-88 replacement once they are no longer good.

They are designed in Canada and produced in China using very high quality components and are extremely well constructed, but the big thing is they sound incredible!

I’d recommend checking out the other Musical Paradise equipment offerings as well. Other reviews are starting to appear that suggest Garry Huang’s products could be one of the lesser known bargains in the audiophile world, comparing well to other equipment 3-4 times the asking price!
