Wasn't implying that it would be exclusive. Just that it's likely MS 1 month exclusive deal with Activision isn't going anywhere. A bit like how Destiny got shown off at the Sony event and had PS4 exclusive content.

I dont believe it will happen at all. Let me be clear on that.

I am just saying that I could see MS (or Sony) paying Activision enough money to allow the first Call of Duty to be exclusive on their respective NEXT GEN systems given that the install base would be very low and the risk of losing money would negligible.

If I were Activision the only way I would consider it is if MS or Sony handled ALL of the marketing costs AND paid off an amount equivalent to roughly 4 million units sold.

MS or Sony could say that if you want to play the next gen Call of Duty it HAS to be on our system. That's pretty powerful marketing.

All of this applies to next gen systems ONLY. I am NOT saying that I could see the next Call of Duty being exclusive to the CURRENT systems. No way that happens. In otherwords Call of Duty would be available on 720 (or PS4) exclusively, 360, PS3 and PC.

None of that is likely, but its not out of the realm of possibility.


EDIT: The above does not necessarily only apply to a Call of Duty game. Battlefield 4 is a possibility.

Well last month we had the whitcher dev dropping a bombshell that the DS4 had a little display under that there touch pad. This month we have yet another dev telling us the DS4 has something thats not been revealed in any of the pictures or videos released to the public.

“You’ll know the success of this meeting in a year,” he said on Twitter today, “when you are / are not playing it on your PS4.”

He also, as you’d expect, got to hold a DualShock 4. “Can’t say much more about [it],” he teased, “it was only a prototype, but it feels tight, suits my hands, and is rather snazzy.”

“They’ve also done something aesthetically that I’m not sure I’ve seen in images online which I really love,” he added.

Quite what this is referring to we don’t know yet. Before the DS4 was shown officially there were rumours that the leaked shots didn’t show everything, and it’s worth noting that Sony hasn’t shown the bottom of it yet.

We haven't seen the bottom of it yet, maybe we get a rear touch too? Maybe a siple light up display is included after all? Guess we'll find out in a couple weeks

From what Ive seen, there could be some icons under the touchpad, but theres no full color LCD under there. For the time being, Im only going to believe what I can see and what weve been told so far. That way im not disappointed by false rumors and will be pleasantly surprised by additional features.
