She must stayed in hotel alot when she's young and traveled with her dad...
Again, I always thought it was SUPPOSED to be Sophia's tribute to the classic children's "Eloise" (the girl who lives at the Plaza Hotel) books by Kay Thompson, but they couldn't get the rights.

Of course, it was a lot harder to do children's book adaptations in the 90's, and Eloise later turned up in kids'-cable movies and series, so since it was just a short, the two of them just ripped off the story out of old sentimentality for it.

(I mean, this was the Coppola who produced "Black Stallion", and had kids' classes asking him to do "The Outsiders", he does actually go into that section of the bookstore once in a while...)

Can't wait for this one.. I really like all three stories. As long as it is Widescreen.

The laziness of not throwing English subtitles (SDH or else) on these makes me not but them. Would have bought several of MC's releases, but this keeps me from doing so.
BD's Pre-ordered:
Empire of the Sun, Jaws
BD Wish List:
(leaving out obvious Indiana Jones pics and such) From Here To Eternity, Schindler's List, Munich, Fearless (the Peter Weir one), Smoke/Blue In The Face, Cobb, Scorsese's King Of Comedy

Thumbs up

I think the PQ on this release is incredible considering its age & how awful it looked the last time I saw it a few years back. For $6, I think they knocked it out of the park. Outstanding release.
