If the posters are still part of the deal then for 50 bucks it's a I'd say yes it's a deal. I pre-ordered and got the two posters and recieved them two weeks before the street date. Looks like they're both around 25 everywhere else anyway.

Maybe I'll luck out. Those look like they've been sitting on store shelves for five years.

Comparing to those posted pictures, my Vampyros Lesbos looks slightly better and She Killed in Ecstasy looks a LOT worse, haha.

I need to upgrade my phone one of these days, this camera is atrocious:

Yes, those crazy scratch-smears are damage and not some kind of reflection!

Man, that's gonna bug me (OCD). Mine haven't shipped yet (despite being a pre-order), but I can't really cancel since I used Super Saver shipping on both, which were placed in separate orders. I cancelled Prime a few months back.

Also received mine from Amazon. Vampyros Lesbos has the smear scratches, and She Killed in Ecstasy has one of the discs loose. Definitely going to request a replacement.

No smears or scratches for me.

It could be a faulty batch that Amazon received, or if not then possibly the way Amazon stored/transported them.

I got mine from Severin, and while not heavily scratched, they are a bit scuffed. And it seems to have occurred before shrink wrapping. Maybe their printer had a bad day.

With the way amazon had them packaged, the slipcover was outside of the shrinkwrap. Did Severin have a second layer of shrinkwrap outside of the slipcover too?? Amazon also had those retail security stickers or whatever you call them on the top of the case under the shrinkwrap with the movie title on it.

My order from Severin came in a box lined with bubble wrap. The Cases and slip covers were in very good condition The only time I've gotten cases jacked up or the disc sliding around loose in the case was from Amazon and is usually attributed to the US Post Office

My Severin order can in a cardboard box; no complaints here.

Vampyros Lesbos Blu-ray REVIEW

Video: 3.25/5.00. Without the adjustments the film would have looked lovely. Still a decent upgrade over the Image disc, but as mentioned earlier an Ascot-type of presentation would have been ideal.

Audio: 4.00/5.00. It is more than fine. Some touch-up work could have been done, but for a Franco film depth, clarity, and balance are very good.
