Default Filming to start in August

Quote:
Milla Jovovich Confirms August Start for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

Last August, actress Milla Jovovich announced that she and her husband Paul W.S. Anderson were expecting their second child together, thus delaying the shooting of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. Now she has taken to Facebook (tip of the hat to Bobby Napoli) with word that she is already preparing to return as Alice for the revived shoot in August.

Quote:
Says Jovovich, “I’m really proud of myself for not gaining the same amount of weight that I did with our first child (75 lbs.) because I have to be ready to start filming ‘Resident Evil- The Final Chapter’ in August of this year and I will also be nursing an infant simultaneously.”
Update on Resident Evil: The Final Chapter shooting schedule...
Shooting was initially being prepped for Cape Town, South Africa, which will be one of several locales used for the sixth and (supposed) last part in the long-running Resident Evil franchise. The last film to see release was Resident Evil: Retribution in 2012.

Targeting a September 2, 2016 release date, Anderson returns for his fourth outing as director and writer of the Screen Gems release Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, with actor Wentworth Miller reprising his role as Chris Redfield from 2010′s Resident Evil: Afterlife.

I hope the last film will be more like the first and fourth movies, but I doubt it considering Alice has now regained her super powers...well, I look forward to seeing it anyway.

I predict a later summer/early autumn 2016 release if they're going to start shooting in August.

Yeah, the movie was originally scheduled for shooting last year and theatrical release this year but moved once she announced her pregnancy.

Glad to hear their getting ready to shoot. Have liked the franchise so far but do hope this is the last one. Heres hoping they go out with a bang.

I have enjoyed all the movies so far, some more then others. Nonetheless, I am excited that this is coming forth!

Sometimes we hear of people who are “very” honest, “mostly” honest, or even “a little” honest.
Should we even use modifiers with the word honest? I don’t believe so. There are no degrees of honesty. Either we are honest or we aren't.

Maybe after this entry, it could be rebooted into something quite a bit more faithful to the original video game series.

If this was 2002, I'd agree. Now even the video games aren't faithful to the original series. I quite enjoy the films for what they are. Big budget action zombie films, with characters that I happen to love. Nothing wrong with that.

Eh. We won't get that until they reboot the video game back to something more resembling the first 2 games.

These movies are fine by me. I also don't mind seeing Sienna Guillory

Rebooting the game is them remastering it in HD like they have. Good old days of PS1. Damn that was sooo long ago. Some people on this board weren't even alive then.
Agree about Sienna !!
