It sure is awful but I watch it plenty.

IMHO, this is the best film of the franchise. I like a young Paul Rudd, MM is at his scariest, and the feeling of fall/halloween time is awesome.

Halloween 6 is the definition of a completely below average film in my opinion. This movie is the Halloween parallel to Friday the 13th's "Jason Takes Manhattan" ... The stories had gotten a bit ridiculous, the characters completely lacked imagination and the series had gone in never ending circles. I was excited when H20 came out cause they went back to the roots & made a great movie. It was sad that Jason got "lost in the woods" until the 2009 remake which wasn't a classic, but a really solid film.

I know some people won't agree but I love this movie! Sure it has its downfalls (quite a few for sure) but its just so damn enjoyable. I hold out hope to get a official release of the producer's cut one day. I have several different versions of it myself.

Unless Shout! Factory and Anchor Bay's US branch's Blu-ray release of the producer's cut of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers is a worldwide exclusive, I'm hoping a European Blu-ray release happens. Was tempted into getting the US Blu-ray set coming out in September, but even though I really want to see the producer's cut of the film, I don't want that version of the film that badly. That's just my opinion.

Curse is by far my favorite after the first two and possibly 4. I don't get the hate for it at all. Sure it has it problems but so do all the sequels.
