Where is this movie on Blu! I was hoping it would be out before Christmas for a stocking stuffer surprise!

This movie was on Scyfy yesterday and I was reminded how good it is. It's crazy that it isn't available on BD yet.

It is so good. I watch it typically once a year or more! Amazes me how many folks haven't seen this little gem. I always enthusiastically watch it with them!

As you say, still can't believe that it is not on BD! What is the holdup? I think it would likely sell very well.

No offense intended, but it really has been available on blu-ray for five years now. I have the German disc, and it looks very good. A huge upgrade over DVD, even if the French disc looks better. My player lets me move the subtitles down, so the forced subs don't bother me. Maybe one day soon it'll get a nice Region A release, but I watch it at least once a year, so I'm not waiting for a studio to make it convenient for me.

I am waiting on a US release, the forced subtitles leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Still waiting on this one. I think I saw somewhere that this is one of the biggest financial flops of all time, which might explain why they haven't bothered to put it on Blu-ray. But it has gathered quite a cult following since its theatrical release, seems like there is profit in it for the studio.

Ok, consider this: here we are eight years since this thread was started. 4K/UHD discs, players, and viewing devices are here/on their way. There's a great deal of talk about the end of physical media, which may or may not be true. How much longer are you going to wait before going region free? Time to grab what you can, while you can.
