I hope it gets made sooner rather than later, as Bruce Boxleitner isn't exactly young anymore!

It wouldn't be a Tron movie without him!
Hates:
3D, 3D printed on the front covers of steelbooks, digital copies (UV & iTunes), "retailer exclusive" bonus features.

Also, f*ck you, Disney UK for giving "The Avengers" a stupid name in the UK! Will NEVER use the UK "name".

Best movie news I've heard all year. And to the poster who compared Legacy to Avatar.....please don't disgrace Tron like that.

Since the previous was inside Flynn's computer, it would be pretty easy to plotline a new grid inside Encom's computers again with Dillinger Jr the villain and then just find an excuse to get Quorra inside.

I loved TRON Legacy. I thought it was the perfet sequel to the original TRON and didn't agree with most of the returning negative arguments in some of the reviews. It was entertaining as hell, the Visuals were stunning, the soundtrack was a perfect match and the cast was ... good enough, at least. Storywise, I believe there was much more going on than meets the eye. When I read some of the reviews, I can't help but think how strange it is that people missed a lot of details. Also, for me the story was complete. But -again- with the right angle ... I'm open for it.
[Wanted Slipcovers US] Cinderella - The Great Mouse Detective - Pete's Dragon - Hunchback of Notre Dame - Atlantis - Robin Hood - Oliver & Co - Sword in the Stone - Peter Pan - Atlantis - Chicken Little (3D) - Mulan - Lilo & Stitch - Bolt (3D) - Brave (2D) - Monsters University (2D) - Frankenweenie (3D) - James and the Giant Peach

Agree.

TRON 3: Bring back Flynn (Jeff Bridges), get another awesome main villain (Sark's Son in a Sark styled red uniform), more Disc Wars, Light Cycle battles out of the Arena, more exploration of the digital world, and how it carries into the real world.

Can't wait to see Tron 3. They could also amp up the 3D hopefully. Tron Legacy was awesome and better than the slower paced (mainly due to editing) original classic Tron, in many ways. More involved and detailed story, pacing as two aspects.

If they could make the Grid more abstract as in the original film and less simulationist as in Legacy, I'd like that.

People hated Tron Legacy? I went into knowing very little of the original outside of Tosh.0 I highly enjoyed Legacy.

I would be very surprised if this ever happens. If pirates 5 is having trouble getting off the ground I don't know how this could look like a good bet to make at Disney .

I like Legacy very much and own it (and think as its own thing, has a great visual design): that wasn't what I was saying. What I mean is that I was a bit disappointed that visually, the electronic virtual world of the Grid was realized with a very real-world physicality versus the much more abstract and distinct virtuality depicted in the original.

Mind I'm not saying I wanted Legacy to look exactly like the original film, just that I would have appreciated something a bit more creative and otherworldly beyond floor-lit sets of glass and plastics.
