you also realize that the screenwriters didn't have enough material when a lot of the screen time goes to those damn annoying mice.

I kinda see where you're coming from.

Even today, kids I know would just snatch my iPod without asking and snoop around and play whatever apps are on there (should really consider putting a passcode...) ... then they'd go "Ew why do you have a "Cinderella" [second screen app] in there? Cinderella's for girls".

It's sort of the same thing when I bring up Jasmine. Aladdin however is a "safer" title to mention considerng how it has more "male appeal".

I really wonder how many of my friends who are males from all ages would have watched Tangled and said they loved if it kept its original "Rapunzel" title. As much as I hate Disney for changing the title, it did open doors between genders, which really shouldn't have to be done so in the first place.

I don't see an ass the size of the moon on Jasmine but perhaps the upcoming Blu-ray release will provide a clearer image.

Like saying Oedipus Rex doesn't have enough material because Sophocles devoted a lot of time to the chorus.

Default What is with the aspect ratio on the Cinderella Diamond combo pack?

I just put the dvd in an hour ago and the aspect ratio was a small square!

Meaning there are black borders on all four sides of my tv. It's a regular box television if that matters.

Is this a defective copy? I got it on Amazon but it came with Movie Rewards etc., so i don't think it's a pirated copy.

Any help would be very appreciated!

The dvd's website lists the dvd and blu ray as having a 1.33 : 1 and IMDB lists the film as having a 1.37 : 1 aspect ratio.

Yet it becomes a box on the dvd ?

So strange.

I just checked mine for the heck of it, and it's boxed as well.

Also, I'd never taken the DVD out of the DigiBook case before. Who came up with that crap packaging? A child tries to take that out and that disc is done.

I'm glad it's not only me who has noticed this. Hopefully someone who understands this can chime in and let us know why this is.

Default "We need replacement discs for the "Cinderella" & "The Sword in the Stone" blu-rays!"

We should have replacement discs for the
"Cinderella : Diamond Edition" &
"The Sword in the Stone : 50th Anniversary Edition"
blu-rays!

Which is why I created this thread!

I just watched this movie for the first time. It was more about the mice than Cinderella. WTH?

Snow White was awful, IMO. I still prefer Sleeping Beauty the best.

Darn. I might have to check out another Best Buy and PM Target's $19.99 online price. If that fails, gonna have to pony up ~$25 in the Amazon marketplace or on eBay.
