I didn't even know this movie was on Blu-ray yet! I don't think I've seen the movie since like... 10 years ago maybe? After playing Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, though, I really want to try this one out! Is it worth hunting stores for? I haven't seen it in Target or Best Buy, but I'm willing to go on an adventure for it

Is the story good? Is it a good movie? Is the animation good?

I really want to see this!

Imo Hunchback is the best movie Disney did in the later part of the renaissance. It has good animation and a good story. The story is more adult aimed compared to Disney's other films as it's pretty dark. The gargoyles get on a lot of people's nerves sometimes, but I don't necessarily think they're bad. I think it's worth hunting down because it's definitely a great film. It's one of my favorites. The sequel that comes packaged with it is a whole different story I can answer all 3 of your questions with a NO for that film.

Supergirl was a cutie, but Lois Lane was where it was at.

I agree with all of this. Get it!! Pricing on Amazon isn't too terrible and it's so worth it.

So the new printing lacks the metallic ink that made it iridescent, but both are embossed, is that right?

Ha, nope, haven't seen it. I was on the verge of ordering it along with The Great Mouse Detective and the Brother Bear 2-Pack when BN.com had them on sale last week, but ultimately I didn't have confidence in blind buying all three. But of the three, this one was the one that kept popping up in the back of my mind. Can't wait for it to arrive.

Haven't seen this movie since it's release in theaters. I honestly can say I don't remember a single detail from the movie. After reading through some of the posts here a second watch is probably in order. I need to see if this is worth adding to my BD collection.

Absolutely love this movie, the song "Hellfire" is a personal Disney favorite of mine! And the voice acting (and singing, for that matter) by Tony Jay who plays Judge Frollo is brilliant. Highly recommended!

[Show spoiler]And of course, the "The Wizard of Oz" reference in the film was hilarious!!

Absolutely agree 100% That is my absolutely favorite song in the whole movie, and Tony Jay was awesome as Frollo!
