So April 8th was Holocaust Day, good day for the UK release. Can't be a coincidence. It seems hit or miss for North American releases. ET was released just in time for Halloween last year, and Born On The Fourth Of July was released on July 3, but they missed the boat with Jaws, releasing it in August. I even started an online petition last January to get the release moved up, but it never went anywhere. Wish I had known about the forum community here. Oh well, at least we got it.

Anyways, I preordered the UK definitive edition, got an email saying they were having supplier issues and I would be updated. I've seen some on eBay.uk, but of course they want much more than my preorder price. I'll just be patient I guess.

I preferred the UK Digibook packaging, so I bought it. Being a Universal Blu, it works fine here in the States. However, the DVD extras do not work here. Looking to find someone who bought the American version and is willing to swap me the DVD of extras. Possibly someone from England that bought the American version? Thanks, Matt

Ugh... The UK edition again provided an iTunes copy code without the iTunes Extra content!
Would love to have the US iTunes Extra features...

Would like to see if anyone would be willing to swap their US BD disc only copy of Schindler's List for my UK one. I bought the UK digibook and unfortunately although it includes much more different subtitle options it does not include Spanish, being part of a Spanish family with some members being spanish speaking only I really need the spanish subs.
Maybe somebody else is in the same boat as I am since the US edition only includes English, French and Spanish subs, while the UK edition includes English, French, Arabic, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Hindi, Icelandic, Norwegian, Swedish subs. The disc content other than the subs it is the same.
I'm looking to swap my UK BD disc for the US BD disc only, nothing else.
If anybody is interested please let me know.

The US release also has a Spanish language option. I personally don't want to trade mine but hopefully someone can help you out.

Yeah actually I own the UK disc and I'm looking for the US disc since the UK one does not include spanish subs.

I'm going to go pick this baby up tomorrow at Target. I don't think I've ever been this excited about a blind buy.

Does anyone in North America own the UK BD? I'd like to know if the special features are playable in region A players.
All right, look if you absolutely have to tell her the truth, at least wait until the timing's right. And that's what deathbeds are for.

The extras are on the BD in the UK? They're only on DVD here.

Oh, I don't know. I thought that the extras were in SD, but still on BD?
