Amazon.ca is cheaper... - Blu-ray Forum

I have been buying most of my BD movies from Futureshop but have just started looking on Amazon.ca to find that the prices in general are definitely cheaper.

I price checked Futureshops website on 6 upcoming BDs that I want to get and cross checked it with Amazon.ca's prices to find there was a $18.20 difference in the total of the 6 movies.

The average price on the movies from Futureshop was $29.32, Amazon.ca was $26.29

Guess I better start buying online.

I didn't think people actually bought anything from B&M stores anymore except on rare occasions. This is seriously the first time you've comparison shopped online? Even Amazon.ca is not the cheapest place, you should check out Amazon.com as well. They charge for shipping to Canada but are usually much cheaper which offsets the shipping cost, and exchange rate is near par right now.

And amazon.com is almost always cheaper than amazon.ca. The best place for someone in Canada to buy from is usually amazon.com.

I have always bought all my videos off amazon, unless I found a good deal somewhere.

agree I've been buying most from amazon.com even with shipping it's much cheaper

I get most of my BD's from tower.com, bestbuy, and buy.com

I'm a Canadian and I buy most of my Blu-ray discs from Amazon.com, too. But having to wait for my Blu-rays to save on multiple shipping charges is annoying. I'm still waiting for Smallville: The Complete Seventh Season.
