I either missed or forgot that there was an extra disc version. Was it great or just okay (you can't read the BRDC pic - X # of minutes)?

Slipcovers are NEVER guaranteed from Amazon. Especially on a film that has been out for over 1 year.

Seen it more times than I can count. It's at least as common as being given their own hub.

If you want that particular piece of cardboard. I honestly prefer the standard slipcover.

You can't always tell about the book and what's in it, but surely you can judge the cover by yourself, right?

Just finished watching the Best Buy bonus DVD.
I was happily surprised that the exclusive bonus features go really deep into the technical aspect of the production and covers lots of details.
Definitely worth watching for those who really like this film.

Just got around to watching this and it blew my damn mind. 5/5, epic sci-fi, I can't believe reviews said this was a shallow action movie. WHAT? It's not at all. Amazing film, amazing blu ray.

This will be a Blade Runner style classic one day, long after it's disappointing release.

Completely agree. This was probably my favorite Sci-Fi movie since District 9. And the soundtrack...HOLY SHIT!!

I finally watched the whole thing on blu last night, instead of just catching random bits of it on cable. I'm not at all surprised to see the positive reviews in this thread, and the overwhelmingly positive user reviews on the site. Oblivion reminds me of the fun, straightforward sci-fi paperbacks of the 80s. They had one central conceit, one "twist" if you like, and they played it through to the end. There was no ambition to be epic or sprawling, or have a huge cast of characters, just a good ripping yarn to kill an afternoon. Critically, this movie was panned for not having enough twists. It was called boring and derivative. I disagree, and I know that this is one of those well-crafted sci-fi action films that delivers cool ideas, great visuals, and a good time, so it will outlast the criticisms of those who have seen it all before. Glad to have it in my collection.
