A textless version of that would make a great poster to put up in my bedroom.

I'd say the only thing I don't care for is The Kingdom. Really looking forward to the new season.

Same. They're treated pretty lowly in the comics too. Like no one ever cares about the Kingdom.

I really, really, really hope this show will finally incorporate multiple arcs into each episode this season rather than wasting weeks at a time on standalone characters that no one cares about or ever will care about.

AMC bought The Walking Dead's studios in Georgia for $8 million plus. That tells you that this show is not going to end anytime soon.

Also back in 2014, AMC signed a six-year filming contract with Gin Property, the residential community that stands in for Alexandria. Which won't expire until 2020 when the show reaches its 10th season.

Raleigh Studios, which as you mentioned AMC recently bought out stood in as the prison during season's 3-4. It is currently used as the Hilltop, the Junkyard, and the Sanctuary, as well as the Oceanside community.

Avi Nash added to the cast of Season 8

Quote:
The Walking Dead has added a new member to the cast for season 8 in Avi Nash. AMC’s immensely popular zombie apocalypse show wrapped up its seventh season earlier this year, which laid the foundation for all out war between Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). The show will return for season 8 later this year, with the premiere marking the show’s 100th episode.

His character has been described as "an innately likable Muslim-American whose nerves are, let’s say, jangled, because he’s flown solo for too long in zombieland."

ComicBook.com speculates that he could be in line to play Siddiq, who does develop into being a very relevant player in the comic book series. However, that doesn’t mean that he will play this role or that Siddiq will have anywhere near the same role he had in the comics.
With this latest announcement, it adds all the more speculation that we'll see
[Show spoiler]the post All Out War timejump and the introduction of the Whisperers sooner than expected.

When will Hollywood learn that they can't keep refusing to pay its talent the the creators of the movies and television shows they help create. Following on the heels of Emily Deschanel and David Borneaz sueing Fox Studios over profits they were entitled to for the Bones TV series, word has come out that Robert Kirkman, Glen Mazzara, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert have all joined ranks to sue AMC for $1 billion in lost profits that they say they are entitled to.

AMC has been playing the same game that Hollywood Studios have been playing to get out of paying its talent for the movies and television shows they work on. AMC Entities created AMC Studios and paid their own studio for the production of each episode, allowing AMC Entities to keep the lions share of its profits earned from the series. This lawsuit follows the ongoing lawsuit that Frank Durabont has against AMC for not compensating him for profits he was entitled to for his work on the series.

http://screenrant.com/walking-dead-a...lawsuit-suing/

Other articles claim that AMC might have been hit hard by this new lawsuit, which follows the same complaints that Frank Durabont has against the studio as well as other lawsuits against Fox Studios, etc. This doesn't bode well for AMC who offered a passive-aggressive stance against the new lawsuit:

“These kinds of lawsuits are fairly common in entertainment and they all have one thing in common – they follow success… Virtually every studio that has had a successful show has been the target of litigation like this, and The Walking Dead has been the #1 show on television for five years in a row, so this is no surprise. We have enormous respect and appreciation for these plaintiffs, and we will continue to work with them as partners, even as we vigorously defend against this baseless and predictably opportunistic lawsuit.”

http://screenrant.com/walking-dead-l...-amc-response/

Please, AMC. This is the same kind of response every movie and television studio takes when they don't want to pay out the royalties and profits that they agree to and they are trying to get out of paying what they are contractually obligated to pay out.

I'd have more sympathy if they all didn't sit there quietly while the exact same think happened to Frank. It's still scummy though, and honestly it feels like it'll sign a death warrant for the show in the future if it ends up being a huge deal.

What I find hilarious about all of this is that while AMC was so busy screwing over Frank Durabont and Robert Kirkman and his gang of miscreants were pointing their bony fingers at Frank and kicking him out the door that now they are being given the same treatment that AMC had shown Frank. Karma has a funny way of doing that to people who laugh at the misfortune of others.

While AMC is not in a good position to be in, Kirkman's gang burned their own bridges with Durabont for not backing him up in the first place. Karma. Irony. Gotta love that. Like the old saying goes, karma's a bi***.
