3 weeks later I'm still waiting for mine to come back

The original was good from what I remember, haven't seen it in years though I am sure that this should be just as good.

Can't believe I haven't picked this up yet as I am a huge Tim Burton fan.

Pick it up. This movie is fantastic and definitely Burton's best in a long while. It might've not done well at the box office, but it will definitely turn into a cult classic (ala Nightmare Before Christmas) with annual Halloween viewings.

Only complaint, the lack of special features.

at the target by my house, they had the 17.99 dvd sale tag, over the 3d price, and all the 3d copies there, i brought the 3d movie to the register and since the tag was over the 3d price, and all the copies were there, he told me he would honor the misprice, on that one copy
so long story short, i got the 3d frankenweenie for 17.99 before tax, a new copy =)

Finally re-watched the replacement disc from Disney while cleaning my fish tank. No problems at all. I picked up "Wreck-It-Ralph" which has the same lousy packaging. Hope I don't run into a problem again with that title.

Costco has this for $24 + tax right now ($32 - $8 instant coupon). Not a great deal, but better than I've seen anywhere to this point.
"Who is Guy..Meatdrapes? What kinda' name is that?" "Um..it's um..Medrapades sir, it's uh, it's Greek." "Well I think you're pronouncing it wrong. This says Meatdrapes." "It's actually pronounced, um, Medrapades." "Well why doesn't it sound like that when I say it? Meatdrapes."

Just received this yesterday and watched it just now.

It only skipped during the "Mr. Whiskers Had A Dream" scene, but played fine the rest of the movie. I'll watch it again tomorrow morning to see if the problem occurs again, before contacting Amazon....

Got to see it last night and it was cute and can't say I was bored with it. Seen better animated movie but the story was fun and I also enjoyed all the little 'winks' at the old Frankenstein movies and other classic horror stories. The B&W was a nice touch and fit the story pretty good. Overall not disapointed that I saw it.

My avatar will Wait Until Dark for a Roman Holiday since this world as War & Peace
and it would be fun to actually have Breakfast At Tiffany's with My Fair Lady
