The two Moviestops in FL, Citrus Park and Brandon, are testing another trade-in: Ultraviolet Digital Copies. Trade-in is only for Digital Copies from the Blu-ray combo pack (HD version) and can ONLY be done at pickup of a brand new copy.

Credit received for those who trade these in ranges from $1.00-$2.00 (testing different values) and sell for those who wish to purchase are $3.99 (Anchorman 2, 47 Ronin) and $4.99 (Hobbit 2, Grudge Match, Paranormal Activity Marked Ones).

This is a great deal for those who do not use DVDs from combo packs or Digital copies, as you can save $5-$6 extra off the lowest reserve price on release day of new participating titles.
That's welcoming news! What's next though? Trading/selling of bonus discs?

Either way, I hope it's successful enough that it'll be a storewide promotion sooner than later. I believe Family Video does something similar with the DC's, no?

That's an interesting promotion to be running, but how does that work with the terms of the Digital Copy code saying 'Not for Resale'? What makes a retailer allowed to buy/sell them like this?

Looks like Anchorman 2, 47 Ronin, and Hobbit UV codes dropped to $3.99. Mitty and Ride Along UV's were $5.99 Would've picked up Mitty at $4.99. Maybe it, too, will be $3.99 next week.
