Yeah, hopefully they re-release it soon. I decided to update my cart in preparation for Black Friday only to find that this movie is now super expensive and hard to find.

Yeah, I went through my cart on Amazon and seen that the price jumped dramatically. When the other major stores didn't have it I purchased the region free steel book from Amazon.uk for about $17 just to have it in the collective.

Odd (to me) that something released less than three years ago goes OOP and sells for so much.

Oh, and this:

Oh, and this:

Probably the Lucasfilm Disney situation mentioned a few posts back.

Glad I picked it up when I did as I had no idea it was selling for so much. I still have it in my backlog and haven't opened it even though I got it at release. Coincidentally enough I was just thinking about finally watching it this upcoming weekend because it's been on my mind.

Disney is the bane of my existence as a movie collector. Every time they buy a studio, the price of that whole catalogue increases significantly. Happened with Marvel and now I am fully expecting Willow to be in the $25-$30 range once it goes back in print. At least in Canada.

I was surprised that Willow went OOP. I bought this for $15 release day, watched it once and loved it...it's a staple fantasy of my whole existence.
I has Steam. All interested parties, message me at The Laughing_|BC| for gameplay and the like.

I doubt Disney will even put this back in print given their non interest in live action catalog titles.

Feels great to have bought this now highly sought-after release when it was going for $10 at Walmart.

Even better in that I bought it right before it went OOP as far as I can tell.

Glad I got mine on release day. Why the hell would it go out of print so quickly???? So odd how that happens with certain titles. Same thing goes for The Phantom. I held off buying it and now I'm kicking myself because its so expensive now.

They're not "ripping people off."

You're not very familiar with the outside world, are ya?

Maybe Disney is just putting the finishing special effects touches on the fish boy scene (like adding Fin Raziel for one, who is nowhere to be seen on the deleted scene on the blu-ray), and they're going to put that scene back into the movie for the 30th anniversary.....
