Seems like very little. Mostly, the shots in question linger on a little longer, but don't really expose any new gore.
Thanks for the link. I wouldn't mind having the unrated cut. But, i'm happy with the R version. Don't think i'll go out of my way for 4 extra minutes.

I wouldn't mind adding the Canadian or Australian versions just for the alternate title card and the domestic release just for the Tobe Hooper commentary track.

That said, it seems like I need to get the US blu-ray of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning" so I can have access to that film's deleted scenes in HD as well.

If you want the old "Family Portrait" documentary, I would not recommend buying the BD-R release that's available on various websites.

I'm positive the transfer on the DVD release is better, so just buy that instead.

It seems like MTI Video transferred the documentary from whatever copy of the original VHS they had in hand...except things went a little wrong during the transfer to digital.

You talking about this release? I thought it got really good reviews, stating the transfer is the best the movie has ever looked?

No no no, not that. Not that at all. That's an awesome blu-ray release.

This is what i'm referring to.

THAT THING...is what you should just get the DVD release of rather than getting the BD-R on demand...release.

I had this in hand at the store the other day. It was like 7 bucks. Put it back in favor of the chucky set. One day I'll get this, it was bad, but for some reason I had fun.
