The difference in picture quality is tiny as they both come from the same master.

The only reasons why I got the German BD instead of the Italian BD is because it has the original English mono audio in lossless and it was cheaper.

Plus it also helps that I can also read and understand all the German content that's on the disc and the packaging.

I bought the Italian Ripley release but put it in a 2-disc case where I keep the MGM disc for the extras.
Equipment: Panasonic Plasma 55" TX-P55VT30Y, Dark room + THX setting, OPPO BDP-93EU Multiregion, Creative 2.1 Speakers. 700 Bluray Discs. 100 DVDs left, mostly TV series.

We'll probably have grey skies and downpours of rain again before you know it.

That's British weather for you.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser gate.
All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain.
Time to die.
