I would say that english is what was most "intended" since these were made deliberately to be exported in english since the italian market was so small in comparison.

I watched demons right after I received it and never posted about it. It's...pretty terrible. The first half is pretty good and has a lot of great visuals, but then it starts rehashing itself, and then it goes totally off the rails with
[Show spoiler]the move into outside of the theater, where apparently some kind of postapocalyptic society has managed to form in the two hours since the demons started spreading in the theater.

The disc LOOKS incredible, it really shows off the crazy lighting and use of color. It's like a hacky Mario Bava/Dario Argento clone! Which I guess is just how people usually describe Lamberto. :P

My favorite thing about the movie was seeing the girl from Deep Red/What Have You Done to Solange/Who Saw Her Die/Night Child/Footprints on the Moon 10 years later. I thought I recognized that usher at first, and then was like IS THAT THE UBIQUITOUS CHILD STAR ALL GROWN UP?! and then confirmed it when I looked up the movie! Good times. She ended up being much more attractive than I'd have guessed, in a very bratty looking way.

I'm talking about the three levels of expensive in editions of that movie. Mondo had a really expensive version with an extra disc and some artwork or a fairly expensive one that I bought which I'd say was the "mid-tier" option which I think was like 45 bucks. Maybe I'm wrong and there wasn't a cheaper version, but I was thinking they had a NON-SPECIAL version or something too.

ah, gotcha...forgot about that factor. Good point!
Rustin Cohle: I know who I am. And after all these years, there's a victory in that.
