I figured I would bump this thread. Still shocking there wasn't a box set release for this series in the US. I think I'm going to take the plunge and order from the UK.

Question

Are the spines of the Canadian Blu-Rays bilingual?

I have season one and season two. Season two has no French on the packaging at all, Season one has "the first season" in French on the front and the spine, and the description in French on the back. The French on the spine is practically microscopic, though.

Thought I'd chime in: I have all the seasons from the UK and they're fantastic. The PQ/AQ is superb, as is the show itself.

there seems to be one alternative, but it's very expensive and I don't like foreign text on packaging much http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Tu...5728/#Overview

Still patiently waiting for a Complete Series 1-4 Boxset in the UK

If that was region free, I'd be all over it. I can put up with foreign packaging to save that much money.

So is the French version uncut too? I've been wanting to get this but they are very expensive elsewhere.

Yeah the french tv version cut stuff and then put it back in for the blu ray release. There wasn't any difference from what was on cable and the uncut version.

I have all seasons unopened on blu-ray for sale for $40 if anyone is interested.

Funny to see this thread pop up, as this release was one of my first bluray purchases ever:

...Took me about three months before I even realized it was an import, lol. I was so inexperienced.

Yours is the UK version? How much did you pay for?

Is it the boxset? I'm interested. Can you send me a PM?
