Hopefully we get a trader with as much repair skill and gear as Lucky Harith had in Fallout 3, wearing the yellow jumpsuit. If he ever got killed in the game, I'd intentionally avoid saving and reload an older save, since he was the only one who could really repair the Anchorage stealth ninja suit the best.

Pipboy edition comes with a steelbook mind.
What does that mean, Rickles?

Yes, but arguably not as nice looking as that one. Not to mention steelbook collectors usually have a raging OCD that means they must have all of them!

Ive heard about the mad ones who have to have EVERY steelbook.

Absolutely insane. There was one guy over on AVForums who did this but even he had to admit defeat in the end.

Anyway...pipboy edition is far more desirable judging by the extortionate prices already!

I thought I was mad for spending at least £10k on Blu-rays over the past 8 years but looking at some collectors here and other places I don't even come close

I had to start taking control back when Play started off the insane steelbook revolution by releasing masses of back catalogue titles. Before that I had almost all steelbooks released in the UK.

I've never been that in to videogame steelbooks luckily.

Pip boy edition is definitely the most desirable. I think it's good that there are options for people that couldn't get their hands on it though. I know if I'd missed out I'd have definitely gone for the that one.

GAME are also selling this merch bundle exclusive to Vault Club members. ONLY £99.99

This is going to be my first fallout game, what can I compare gameplay to? I've heard something like Skyrim? If that's true, there goes a couple hundred hours of my life into another game

Like skyrim only in the sense that it's open world adventure. But it's gunfighting, not swordfighting. I honestly think the "feel" of the game does not compare to anything mainstream that I have owned. It's pretty campy, which is one thing that sets it apart. Irrespective, there goes a couple of hundred hours of your life.

Fallout 4 is also a bloody game, but the action is usually fun but challenging.
You do have melee weapons, like the Jingui Shock Sword, Vampire sword, bumper swords, hammers, bats with spikes, etc if you want (from Fallout 3, NV), but a big selection of firing weapons. Flame throwers, incinerators, etc.

I'll say the Heavy Incinerator has some of the best range and is a strong weapon against even Deathclaws as it lights them up.

Couple hundred? Pfft, that's nothing anymore. I measure in thousands since Destiny, lol.

Geminiphoenix is the only one I know of that is still 100% on UK steelbooks, I am sure there are others though.

INVISIBLE WALLS in FO4:
Do you think there will be invisible walls again in Fallout 4 as in prior games? Or will they go the route of Mad Max's wasteland and not have a physical or invisible border but an endless desert, but with hazards that would quickly let you know you've reached the end of the main map area, like a deadly storm? MGSV has walls of rock, which I like, to let us know the limit of the map.

Prefer seeing a mountain to an invisible wall. When I see scenery, I want to go there, so much prefer an unclimbable mountain compared to an invisible wall with landscape in the distance (Witcher 3 has land but resets you back to the map if you go towards it).
