I guess thats the right way to see it. Maybe we just get torked because somehow a remake makes us feel that the original is being superceeded or whatever. I dunno.

Look - people who are saying that remakes dont affect your life are technically correct. Sure, no animals will be harmed or lives lost. We get that. Its just...I dunno.... it's irritating and thats that. UNLESS the original is extremely old, outdated or had a great idea spoiled by bad production values.
