Default The Believer vs. American History X

I am a huge fan of American History X and Ed Norton. I've never seen the Believer but have heard its terrific and similar to AMH X. I also heard that Gosling gives a performance as good as Nortons. Any thoughts or opinions on this? I plan to watch the Believer soon. Incidently, I just watched Half Nelson and was blown away by Goslings performance and the movie itself. Best movie I've seen in a while.

Yes. Waiting for The Believer to arrive on BD so I can own them both.

Similar themes (neo-Nazis, young man's struggle to belong, etc.), but quite different in execution. Don't want to spoil anything for u. Suffice it to say, if u liked one, you should enjoy the other. Gosling and Norton's performances are legendary. My favorite Gosling film FWIW.

I want to see this Believer film. Just read a little bit about it and it sounds quite interesting.

Anyone know if it's available on Blu-Ray?

I prefer Romper Stomper to AHX. It's Russell Crowes first film and showcases the hopelessness and despair of the skinhead movement brilliantly. AHX gets really corny when he goes to prison. Almost like a Malcolm X rip off or something.
There simply is no other place on the internet. Blu-ray.com
If you are not paying for the best you are getting ripped of by the worst.
