No, they'll just pay Vimeo (and other recognised video-sharing sites) money to ban clips like that. 7 minutes is quite a long time, they're slacking

I had a chance to see that 2-minute clip. It's basically the climax of the Kick Ass 2, and it's full of spoilers. People interested in watching the film should probably avoid it.

Having said that, my expectations for this film dropped down another notch. The clip makes the movie look terrible. I don't read too much into trailers, because trailers are heavily edited. But this was essentially a continuous 2-minute clip taken straight out of the movie's climax. The dialogue, the set up, and the overall feel of it is underwhelming. It seemed to confirm my low expections when the film was passed from Matthew Vaughn's desk to Jeff Wadlow's.

thanks for the info. Glad I didnt see it then - I dont want to see lots of spoilers.
I wouldnt judge it on one 2-minute clip though. I mean the climax of the first film was probably my least favorite part of the film. We'll see how it turns out as a whole.

I just saw the clip. You know, it looks entertaining and I think I will enjoy it, but definitely not as good as the first. Kick ass is one of my favorite films of all time. The sequel just seems to be lacking what made the first so good, although i cant really explain it. I am not expecting good reviews from critics for this one either. I am still really disappointed that Matthew vaughnn is not the director. I don't know about the rest of you, but I would be willing to wait even longer if he could direct it but oh well. I have low expectations, but I'll keep my fingers crossed that it will surprise us all.
Last purchase: Donnie Darko 10th anniversary $12
