You could order it from Amazon UK. Although you won't get the book or the bonus disc, it's relatively cheap and WB titles are region free.

I'll wait for $18.99 as I usually do with Warner's digibooks. They can take anywhere from a couple to several months to hit that price, but it does happen.

Is this digibook is still available from Amazon.Com or has it changed to the Amaray case as it doesn't say book or digibook in the title.

I haven't heard that the packaging has changed. The picture of the product on Amazon is clearly a digibook.

I am thinking more like 14.99. Sometimes it does take months... maybe even a year. That's ok.... I can wait. I currently have 171 movies on my price tracker. Eventually I will own most all of them.. at prices much less than on release day. I really want Empire of the Sun... but it needs to drop to around 50% off of MSRP.

I found this on amazon.ca

http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Empire...Blu-ray/41812/

It's a pre order for June 2013, is this movie being re-released again in a digibook? It's only been out since November.

It doesn't show up on the release calendar.

I see that the famous Astor Theater in Melbourne Austraila is presenting a 4K DCP of the film next Sunday; is the scan of the bluray also sourced from a 4K transfer?

Best Buy normally seems to have a random "DigiBook Week" every year where select Warner Digi's are $15.99. Here's hoping Empire of the Sun will be part of this year's batch!
