Those are very detailed Lulu, what did you use to render the second perspective?

Also here are a couple more (cross eye) conversions I did a while back:

Pink Floyd's The Wall

Zombieland R#3

My Cat

Matrix 2

Wow, those are STUNNING!!

Do tell, what did you use to convert and it's obvious you had to draw in background information as all layers are cleanly cut. Any tips you want to give?

Lulu - your conversions are stunning! Really great work.

If you ever had extra time on your hands and cared to share some of the techniques and methods you utilize to create such clean results, I'd be obliged - and am definitely all ears.

If you keep posting such stunning 3D conversions, I may lose my intrigue of real 3D movies!

I actually like this one a lot, did it earlier today.

ditto lol. The only thing that's holding me back is worrying about being able to use and understand the conversion software, since I have little to no experience (I've only done a tiny bit of photoshop lol)

Just work on depth map creation, that's going to be the toughest part IMO. The software, Bas Relief for instance, is actually very simple to use. You open the original picture, open the map, select the parallax, save the output and boom you have a side by side. Switch the output type while saving.

Lulu's conversions are so clean because he/she (sorry, I don't know you Lulu) did it with photoshop alone, actually drawing in / stretching / creating the second perspective using layers without the assistance of a 3P conversion software. While absolutely gorgeous, I'm willing to bet it was pretty time consuming and possibly frustrating at times - but a great example of the conversion equation.

Creativity+((Time*Effort)+detail)=Quality.

I'm still learning new techniques everyday trying to better my own outputs. Blurring specific layers is what's baking my noodle at this moment in time - and what I'm finding in the end is there is no "correct" way to bulk blur maps, every scene is different, every scene must be handled as its own.

I did this one Friday afternoon, just killing some time. Not my best, but holy crap would I love to see Reservoir Dogs get a conversion. That would me MY guilty pleasure haha..

So I took a stab at converting an animated still using Lulu's method of displacing and skewing layers, or at least what I think is the method.

Let me know what you think - here's my (cross eye) side by side still from the original Puff The Magic Dragon:

It took me a while to do it, and required a lot of drawing on my part to fill the areas out where the layers were displaced. Overall though I think it turned out pretty good, at least for my first try.

Finally installing the programs and am getting ready to learn how to do stereo conversion. I've been feeling inspired by conversion lately and I'm gonna try not to rest on my laurels anymore lol

Great job - I'd love to learn how you shear the faces to get some shape, they do not look flat at all.

I did a small one today killing some time:

Apollo 13 would be fantastic if given a top notch 3D conversion, that of Jurassic Park and Titanic.

I was thinking about different ways to use 3D conversion and did a few things that might add to the final result:

(Native 3D picture + Frame on the wall (Converted))
House2.jpg

(Full 3D conversion + Layers of CG rain)
singin-in-the-rain -ANAGLYPH.jpg

Freaking awesome!!! How do you paint in the missing information after you finish rotoscoping and finish your depth map?
