I've been enjoying this series as each new film was produced but for some reason, Resident Evil: Afterlife just wasn't as good as the previous films. Did anyone have that same feeling about the fourth film? It was like they cut down on the zombies in "Afterlife". I had noticed that there were far more zombie fights in Apocalypse and Extinction, which was what made those films fun to watch. Afterlife seemed to be lacking that.

Watched this last night in 2D and not the strongest RE movie.. I hate watching it in 2D because it was pretty evident of the 3D parts like when the helicopter crashes in the mountain, and the built from the gun and the shower axe part.

The helicopter part was a little over done.. what was it like 5-8 seconds of panning in slow motion and the objects frozen in the air?

Mila is still hot..
Got my first Blu-ray on September 28th 2011!

Is this series dead?

I mean we are coming back to it for the same reason. Milla, zombies,
good action, graphics, etc.

Somehow even with those low standards this movie still failed somehow.
Nothing really here. Sad that someone wasted the money on this for
my Christmas present. This movie was not really enjoyable at all.

Went to FYE earlier today and to my surprised they had a brand new Resident Evil: Afterlife ($12.98) steelbook in mint condition (no dents, no scratches) it even had the Walmart logo. Not sure if FYE are receiving this or maybe someone didn't open it up and trade it in.
