Well, if you didn't like the first one, I don't know if you'll like this one any better, even though it is an improvement over it. Personally, I loved the first, and I thought this one was even better.

The main reason I didn't like the first one is because of how the story was told. In the original series, the apes overcame a language barrier by learning how to speak English. They worked hard to get into the position of power. it was a story of struggle and overcoming diversity. But in this rebooted series, they got their abilities out of a bottle in a laboratory. The apes basically became Captain America, in the sense that without the cocktail of super steroids Steve Rogers would just be a regular guy that achieved nothing on his own.
The best number is 73. Why? 73 is the 21st prime number. Its mirror, 37, is the 12th and its mirror, 21, is the product of multiplying 7 and 3... and in binary 73 is a palindrome, 1001001, which backwards is 1001001.

I'm two steps from joining the 500 club and one step from being murdered by my wife for continuing to buy movies.

I feel your pain. My wife rides me for bringing all these movies in the house. She's not fully aware of the current count: 705.

She refuses to get me blus for holidays or my birthday, and then wigs out when I buy them myself.

Looks like we're all married to same type of woman. If my wife actually knew how many, or how much I spend on this hobby, I wouldn't be around.

Good luck, guys (and maybe get the name of a good lawyer sooner rather than later).

Currently at 481 and I'm crossing my fingers my wife got me some for Christmas.

Can't wait to hit 500 and to be honest I was super happy when I finally owned more Blus than DVDs.

My GF (new member here too) loves having something to collect/watch with me!

She just bought me Guardians of the Galaxy.
I mentioned in passing that it was out and she's like: "Damn you, here." and tosses it on the bed. "It was supposed to be a Stocking Stuffer."
I told her that she didn't need to ruin the surprize.

I refuse to open it until Christmas.

That'll be a long way off for me, I owned 1,100 DVD's.
I also counted individual Disks in a package. And if something had 2 sides, that counted twice.... Also, if a movie had more than 1 version, that was counted multiple times. T2 was counted as 3... lol....
I need to go and find my old Inventory Sheet.

I'm almost to 300 blus and probably still in the neighborhood of 450 DVD'S. I quit logging in on my collection because I got tired of going thru them all. I probably had around 1600 dvds at one time but sold a bunch of them about 9 years ago when I was going thru a little rough patch. I should hit 400 blus by the end of Feb.I would say. I've been buying 6 to 8 blus a check lately. Its become a friggin' addiction!!!!!!
