well, the new DNR-free Terminator 2 also used the same master.
So, you don't know what's hiding under that sentence.

Although, yes, I agree, that these would be the exact same Blurays.

If they actually re-released these without the contrast boosting, DNR, and EE I would probably buy them. However, I don't expect this to be the case.

Whew.... I was almost going to have to get the Flux Capacitor set just for the book. Good to see it's another "sampler" book. I'll just get the normal sets (I'm over gimmick packaging) along with the full book.

Seeing that ilovewaterslides posted that Universal will be using the same transfers as the 25th Anniv. package, it could be a deal breaker for me. I wish I wasn't such a sucker for packaging and extras. Just have to wait and see what it's priced at. I'm thinking it will be $88.00 pre-order

Aside from the same transfers, that just struck me as another reason to possible forego the new 30th package. I much rather have the entire book instead of just the sampler. The complete book seems to have a lot of cool features of its own. I don't care much for having the animated series. But, what to do about finally getting my hands on a flux capacitor

Very tempted...but I don't really remember much of the animated series other than Bill Nye.

So the MSRP is $99.98, meaning it will be $65-$70 by the time it's released.

I donít know who got back to ilovewaterslides, or how knowledgeable they actually might or might not have been, and, as filmmusic pointed out, even with the same master, it may be better, there may be less DNR. The fact is, we wonít really know until itís released or believable reviews start coming in. Until then, itís all just palaver.
