Got my regular 2D copy of Finding Nemo today too. It also comes with a slip, but it's just a 'normal' one. It's nice though.

Thanks for the pics. It's a shame they couldn't have made the ratings and 3D logo a sticker like Monsters Inc.

Pics?

This is a new one on me, I thought Disney UK had stopped with slips on standard releases.

Thanks for the pics, Nick. Will pick this one up.
Seriously? What part about that statement didn't seem like it was a personal opinion? And what part of that opinion makes it ridiculous? Just because you disagree with it?

I second your opinion Monkeyspoons Revenge - it doesn't look as nice as the silver US version, or the 2D one on my shelf. But, to be fair, it isn't a bad cover either.

Monkeyspoon never has a good word to say about any of the UK releases. It's ridiculous because it's the exact same image with a different border. We should be used to this by now, but apparently, it comes as a big surprise to everyone that we get a different colored border.

Thank you. The red border does not compliment the cover image at all while the silver one does. If people would bother to read they would see that I previously asked if it was like the monsters Inc cover with no border. I think it would look far better with no border than have one that clashes with it.

Why do people get so defensive when someone says something negative. This is a forum is it not.

It would have been better with no border like Monsters Inc.

The fact that you are used to it doesn't make it less hideous. It's a cover which has blue as the primary colour and the border is red, the exact opposite . I'm used to not getting digital copies, slip covers, DVDs, extras, whole movies etc etc, that doesn't make it less annoying either.

I think the whole reaction has more to do with who said what than what he said.

And actually I was going to point out that I put the photos up because he had asked some questions about it, not even a thanks and straight into the usual negative comment.
Its a shame
My photos dont really do the lenticular part justice however

In the midst of all this "which slip is better" debate, is anybody else annoyed that the 3D release is only 2 discs and missing extras, when it was stated that the UK's 3D Blu-ray would come with the bonus disc?
Blu-rays Pre-ordered: Lilo and Stitch: 2 Movie Collection, Jerry Bruckheimer Action Collection

The red border is a bit of an odd choice to use as it only really goes with cover art that features warm colours like oranges, yellows and reds (like the lion king). Disney UK should have done what Disney US did and picked a neutral colour like silver or gold. I never understand why each country had different colour schemes. Are us brits so different to the americans?
