If Demons is to go by, then theatrical key art will be on the back. The front will likely be original.

Are you kidding me? The same master used for the Arrow BD when the one used by Wild Side is so much better? No amount of magic will make that looking especially pretty.

Edit: Derp, NEWER Arrow version, so it is the WS master. *phew*

Nope no one is kidding, Synapse will improve upon it since they take the time to do color corrections..of of course improve is purely dependent on one's taste in the PQ of the film

Suspiria will be out in 2015 - Don is going to take time to do this one as best as he can. No crank it out release on this one

They claim "improvements' to the new master Arrow used for their newer release, but if it's anything like the usual Shout discs then any improvement in the image will be negated by the compression issues Shout discs often have.

Shout Factory isn't releasing these. Synapse is.

Well it's a good thing that Synapse is releasing these then.

I had misread the original quote. Synapse's Tenebrae release will be sourced from the Wild Side master (the one Arrow used on their steelbook), not the master originally used by Arrow which is dreadful. Click here to see the difference. No amount of color correction would have made that look very good.

Hence why I was taken aback, until I noticed Don said "master that was used for the newer Arrow version."

And it definitely will be an improvement. Wild Side's (and possibly Arrow's re-release) had scratch removal and noise reduction issues where portions of the picture were messed up. The Synapse release should hopefully be free of that and any other technical issues.
